There won’t be a lack of muscle strength Saturday in Charlottetown as the Maritime Open bikini, determine, body, and bodybuilding championships hit the stage at the Eastlink Centre.
The event will feature athletes from Eastern Canada and will be a national qualifier for the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) pro qualifier this summer in Toronto.
The top three from Saturday’s occasion will circulate directly to the IFBB qualifier, where they will earn a chance for a card within the IFBB Professional League.
Vince Adams, P.E.I. The National Canadian Physique Alliance invited amateur competitors from off-island for 12 months, a good way to see how Island competition fits in.
“This opportunity permits P.E.I. Athletes the capability to test their abilties towards a roster of blended athletes from all of Eastern Canada and will show off some of the high-quality physiques Atlantic Canada has to offer,” Adams stated.
Pre-judging starts at 10 a.m., and doors open at 9:15 a.m. Tickets for that element are $20 cash, most effective, and available at the door.
Finals begin at 6 p.m., and doorways open at 5 p.m. Tickets for the night session are $ forty-five plus a $1 surcharge available at the Eastlink Centre field office.
