It became the weekend, so of course, that means RAIN. One song that clearly was given the complete race turned into Hummingbird Speedway. It was an overcast, cool-spring night time that welcomed enthusiasts and drivers from everywhere in the place, including 3 one-of-a-kind states to their season opener. Five-time track champion, Bob Connor, turned into the flagman. It additionally started the fifty-fifth anniversary season of racing at the speedway. Feature Winner’s on Opening Night protected: Rich Anderson of Glen Campbell in the Sunny 106. Five FM Pure Stocks, Michael Lake of Uniontown in the BWP Bats Super Late Models, Bruce Hartzfeld of Rockton in the Cypress Clock & Gift Shop Street Stocks, Zack Frantz of Reynoldsville in the Four-Cylinders and Nick Erskine of Bells Landing within the Swanson Heavy Duty Truck Repair Semi-Late Models.
Many of our different tracks got a few warmth races/ hot laps in before the rains got here, inclusive of Clinton County, Selinsgrove, Lincoln Speedway.
Next weekend might be the Outlaw song-up display at Williams Grove…weather allowing of the path.
