Senior commissioning editor Helen Mortimer obtained world rights to Warrior Monkeys by début creator Mary Stevens and illustrator Steve Brown from The Bright Agency. The series features the courageous monkey duo Suki and Bekko, who are determined to become authentic Warrior Monkeys. Stevens, a karate and jiu-jitsu trainer, runs a charity encouraging ladies in developing international locations to use martial arts to enhance self-assurance.
Meanwhile, senior commissioning editor Clare Whitston sold international rights to Paula Harrison and illustrator Jenny Løvlie’s Kitty series from Felicity Trew on the Caroline Sheldon Literary Agency.
